Description:
Owing to its non-basic nature makes BIOSORB® 1164 especially ideal for base sensitive polymers such as polyester and polycarbonate. It provides the advantages of high thermal stability, extended UV absorption, and superior protection against extreme processing conditions. When used in combination with HALS, the performance of BIOSORB® 1164 can be further optimized in preventing gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, and color change. BIOSORB® 1164 is most suitable for the protection of polyesters, automotive clear coats, powder coatings for plastics and wood, and high performance industrial coatings.
